The following are the results of the first two races held on Monday evening over a three-quarter-mile course, by Star Boating Club oarsmen for the Fitzgerald Cup: Thodey (str.). Dennehy, Blyth, and Sampson beat Kidd (str.), Gibbons, Lawson, and Dentice by a bare length. Cook (str.), Hutchens, Sidford, and Burge beat Andrews (str.), Didsbury, Brodie, and P. Webb by one length. Jn tiio Star Novice Pairs, C'romie and Bevin beat Fisher and Frascr by five feet, after an excellent race.
