Among the newcomers to "Welling ton senior cricket this season will b L. E. Rilcy, who represented Cantei bury last season. When transferred t the* North Island recently, Riley did no anticipate being able to play muc' cricket here, as lie would be travelliiij a good deal. It is now likely that h will bo able to give some spare tim to cricket, and the report is that h will be playing for Midland in the loca senior competition.
