MR. C. W. CARROLL

The death occurred at Auckland last week of Mr. Charlton Wilson Carroll, of 9(3 Brougham Street, Wellington, at the age of 53 years. The late Mr. Carroll was acting-secretary of tho Wellington Chamber of Commerce in 1910----11, following his father, the late Mr. Samuel Carroll. For about five years he was secretary of the Wellington Stock Exchange, and for many years contributed trade review articles to the "Mercantile Gazette." He leaves a widow and a son and daughter.
