MELBOURNE CENTENARY

. Mr. J. W. Olphert, of the staff of the Napier Boys' High School, the manager of the New Zealand part', said ho thought a good all-round team had been selected. They would be up against strong opposition in Melbourne, but he would be satisfied if they performed as well as they had done in New Zealand. Tho boys, ho thought, were in for a wonderful trip. A farewell arranged by Mr. S. Dunn was given at the Carlton Hold today to Eric Wordsworth, of the Sacred Heart College, Auckland a member of the New Zealand team. Wordsworth is the holder of the BSO yards secondary schools championship of Auckland. The farewell gathering was attended by a large number of old boys of the Sacred Heart College and good wishes were expressed for Wordsworth.
