The development in connection with tho death of Margaret May Smith is the information that the box of chocolates contained a note in printed characters in ink stating, "See you at Ngahiro Friday night. Jim." Ngahoro (the correct spelling) is three miles from Blackball.
When Miss Bragge, of Main Eoad, Blackball, received tho •chocolates she thought that they wore from a friend named Jim who lives close by. This n nn, however, had disclaimed sending them even before the box was opened, and he had one of. tho chocolates. Not all the chocolates were eaten. It is understood that tho rest are being analysed.
