MANAWATU SHOW.
The 49th Grand Metropolitan Spring Show of the Manawatu and West Coast A. and P. Association will be held on Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, October 31 and November 1 and 2. There is an attractive list of cash prizes, cups, and trophies. Classes are provided for all breeds of purebred stock, horses, cattle, sheep, pigs, and clogs. The schools' and domestic divisions are also catered for. Entries for the general classes close on Saturday, October 6. Entries in the livestock sections will be received up to and including Thursday, October 18. Prize-list schedules are now available, and may be had on application to the secretary, Mr. Hugh Kissling, Box 85, Palmerston North. Dog schedules may be had on application to Mr. J. H. McDowall, 272 Church Street, Palmerston North.
