MR. B. A. MABIN'S WORK
When the members of the management committee of. the Wellington Football Association this week received a letter from' the council of the New Zealand Football Association, thanking them for their help in making tha Chatham Cup final such, a splendid sue cess, thoy paid a tributo to the excel' lent services rendered by Mr. B. A.Mabin, secretary of the Wellington Football Association. His work, they, said, was largely responsible for tha success of the Cup final, and they tosolved to place on" record their ap< preciation of those services,
But tliis is only One instance of Mr. Mabin's ability. Although he is abljl helped by Ux. W. B. Hicks (chairman of the management committee) and all tho commitleo members, the bulk of the executive work devolves upon him. The Soccer public of Wellingtoa owe Mr. Mabin-.niore than they realise, for the successful conduct of the gam« here is duo irt no small measure to his smooth efficiency.
