ANNUAL DANCE

The Pharmacy Hall, Cambridge) Terrace, was gaily decorated with streamers, balloons, and flags in marigold shadings last night for the Public Trust Oflico annual dance. The hall was crowded and the excellent orchestra and floor made the ovening a "very happy one. Those in tho official party were tho Rt. Hon. J.. G. Coates and Mrs. CoateS (tho latter in prune moiro with spray of pink roses in corsage), Mr. and Mrs. H. Turner (peach organdie), Mr. and Mrs. G. G. Rose (cherry georgette and sequins), and Mr. W. G. Baird (assistant Public Trustee) and Miss Moon (black floral georgette with petuuia sash). j The committeo were Miss Lora Allan (flame windswept satin), Miss C. Boffa ! (black ring velvet with diamanto trimmings), Miss A. Elliott (primrose organdie), Miss C. Quirko (black windswept crepo and gold), Miss 0. Trevor (powder blue ring velvet), . Mrs. A. Masters, hon. secretary (floral crepe), iind Messrs. Abernothy, Collins, Millier, ■Mulholland, and Roberts. Amongst thoso present were Miss Turnbull (blue velvet), Miss Pullerton (whito crinkle crepe), Miss Betty Smith (egg-shell blue chiffon taffetas), Miss Button (whito lace with diamante trimming), Miss Henderson (pink and green net), Mrs. Kissen (wine crepe), Miss Walker (black ring velvet), Miss Styies (pink velvet), Mrs. Clarke-Smith (apricot velvet), Miss Betty MacCormac (blue spotted organdie), Mrs. Evans (sandalwood lace), Mrs. J. G. McGhie (beigo lace with fur trimming), Miss Troughtori (biack panne velvet), Miss Milner (pink georgette with satin sash), Miss Longworth (black ring velvet), Mrs. Skeddca (olivo green crinkle erepc), Mrs. P.
