Lady Sidey, Dunedin, will arrive in Wellington next week and leaves by the-Monowai to spend several weeks with relatives in Melbourne. Mrs. Thornton Jackson and Miss Lesley Jackson, Auckland, who have been spending a holiday in Wellington, will return home tomorrow evening. Miss Moto,'Nixon, Christchurch, is the guest of Mrs. Jeff cry Manning, Heretaunga. • Mrs. E. W. Mills, who lias been staying with her mother, Mrs. W. P. Fitzherbert, Palmerston North, will .arrive in Wellington tomorrow to tako up residence at Karori. Miss Betty Petro, Chateau Tongariro, will pass through AVelliugton on Monday on her way to Christehurch, to visit her mother, Mis. E. G. Petre. Mrs. J. W. Collins, wife of the New Zealand Trade and Tourist Commissioner in Canada, will accompany her husband on .his forthcoming trip to the Dominion, and will probably spend several -months here. They expect to leave Vancouver' about November 17. ■ . Mr. and Mrs. H. Linloy Richardson, Palmerston 'North, are visiting Wolliug: ton. Miss Nance Boyle will leave Wollington tonight to make her future homo with relatives in Timaru. Misa L>\K, Bridgnian left this week by the Wanganella to attend the National Convention of the Y.W.C.A. of Australia, to bo held in Melbourne. Mrs. George J. Mather-Loader, Wellington, is visiting Napier, and is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. H. Swain. Mr. and Mrs. Sam Harris, Napier, who liavo boon visiting their daughter, Mrs. P. Sclmeideman, Kelburn, have roturned homo. Miss Grace Joll, of the Auckland Library staff, passed through Wellington yesterday on her way to Christchurch. She will join the staff of the Christchurch Library for three months. Mrs. Bobert English, late of Christchurch, who has been living in England for some years, returned to Wellington by the Wanganella on Tuesday. After spending a few weoks with her daughter, Mrs. J. Eaglesome, in Wanganui, sh« will return to Christehurch. Miss Patterson, Horopito, is spending a holiday -with her mother in Wellington. Mrs. Percy Gill and Miss Mary E. Gill (Christchureh) and Miss M. Whelan (Christchurch) are at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. Or Mishkiu (Tiinaru) is in Wellington to meet her sister Mrs. C. Rosenbloom, who arrives from America next week. Mr. and Mrs. A. L. Dazeloy, Devponport, Tasmania, and Mr. H. J. Poole, Gisborne, are the guests of Mr. and Mrs. L. E. Poole, Plymouth Street, Karori. Miss M. Dazeley is the guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Hawkins, Karori.
