HAMPTON COURT VINE.—An old engraving, published in 1840, showing the interior of the glasshouse at Hampton Court, London, with the vine, luhich is now 166 years old. It was planted in 1768, and is still thriving. This summer it bore about five hundred bunches of fine quality black grapes, which were sold at, 6s per pound on belialf.of the blind men in St. Dunstans Hostel.
