Good Home and Continental competition 'was experienced, and a steady tone characterised the market. New Zealand greasy crossbred, \Wood-' lands" sold at 9d higheet and 7 5-8 d average. Scoured merino, "Richmond" sold 22% d highest, and 22d average. The series will close on October 3.
Dalgety and Co. • have ■ today received the following cablegram from their London office:—Sales continue. Competition active. No improvement in prices. From 75 to 80 per cent, of the offering sold. Sales close October 3. .
