A.S.R.S. CASE AGAIN

Fixtures up to and''including the first week in October were made today by the Chief Justice (Sir Michael Myers), Mi. Justice B'erdinan, Mr. Justice Blair, Mr. Justice Kennedy, and Mr. Justice Fair for the hearing of cases by tha Court of Appeal and the Full Court. One of the cases for determination: by the Pull Court is between the Amalgamated Society of Railway Servants and the Attorney-General. 11; was before the Court in April'of this year; on, that occasion decision was sought, on the question of whether .tKo provisions of part three of the National Expenditure Adjustment Act, 19^2, relating to reduction in rent, applied t<* tho rental, charged railwaymen for the occupancy of houses owned by.the Bailway Department. The Court decided that the provisions applied. There are, however, two further questions for tho Court's consideration. , •

"Are they, difficult questions?"' inquired Mr. Justice Hcrdman after Mr. 11. R O'Leary, counsel for the A.S.K.S., had mentioned the case.
