He- has taken part in piping competitions in New. Zealand since the age of ten, and .won tho New.. Zealand-, pibroch championship at. Dunedin in June, 1933.. He left last January to attend classes at. a .college in Aberdeen, and intends to obtain further experience.in- Canada and to return to New Zealand nesfc year.
