Mrs. Woodbine Johnson, Gisborne, is the guest of her daughter. Lady Poinarc, Western Hutt. Miss Pomarc recently returned, from an extended visit to Gisborne. Mrs. Joseph Josoph loaves Wellington today for Eketahuna. Miss Mary Latham, accompanied by Miss Ethel Galway, left Wellington today for Wanganui. Miss Peggy James, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned to Masterton. v Miss Mary Gilmer, who has been spending the holidays in Wellington; has returned to Duncdin. Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Maddock, Wellington, are staying at Warner's Hotel, Christchureh. Mrs. Woffenden (neo Miss Millie Lomas),. London, is visiting Mrs. A. Watson, Rongotai Terrace. Miss McCallum, who has been the guest of her sister, Mrs. Sievwright, Tho Terrace, has left for her home in Dunedin. Mrs. Eeynolds and Miss Eose Eeynolcls, Christchureh, who have been visiting Wellington, have returned home. / Mr. and Mrs. W. J. Phillips, Wellington, are staying at the Boyal Hotel, Christchureh. . Miss E. Scott is a Wellington visitor to Christchureh. Mrs. J. B. Hotchin, Wellington, is staying at the Grand Hotel, Auckland. Mrs. E. Wiggins, Wellington, is staying at the Station Hotel, Auckland. Miss M. Cliff, Wellington, is visiting Auckland. Miss M. MacKenzie, who has resided at Akaroa for the past year, left on Wednesday to visit her brother at Takitu Station. She will leave Wellington by the Maunganui on September 18, for Sydney, and will travel to England via Suez on the s.s. Baradine. Miss V. Crispin, Marlborough, is visiting Wellington.. v Mrs. L. L. T. Bush, Medway Hills, who has been visiting her mother, Mrs. T. Eapley, Wellington, has returned home. Mrs. G. M. Spence, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned ■ to Marlborough. . ■ Mrs. S. G. Scholefield and Miss Nan Whelch, Wellington, are the guests of Mrs. B. D. Brown, Hastings. Mrs. Malcolm, Wellington, is on a visit to her sister, Mrs. H. W. Williams, of Bishopcourt, Napier. Mrs. Ross, Porangahau, is at present on a holiday visit to Wellington. Miss Phylis Candy, Hastings, arrived yesterday in Wellington, where sho will spend a few days' holiday. Miss P. Lowes, Eketahuna, is staying at the Hotel St. George. Mrs. J. S. McMaster (Martinborough), Mrs. J. K. Strang (Masterton), Miss Stewart (Napier), and Mrs. D. Beid and Mrs. E. Bowler (Dunedin) are at the Boyal Oak Hotel.
