A message from Littlo America states that among the projects planned for this spring for which tho expedition is making ready is a long tractor trip towards Bdsol Ford Kango eastward to lay a gub-base for a flight which may ba attempted before the month is out. The' senior meteorologist (Dr. Morgan) plans to leave the camp shortly on a awing around Amundsen Arm, taking seismic soundings of the ocean bottom in an attempt to discovor if tho Barrier is grounded here, and to explain the baffling problem of how the Bay of Whales maintains its ■ conformation in this inconstant ice front. Trail parties will carry tho scientists to Edsel Ford and Queen Maudo liangcs daring October. The autogko has already made a series of flights at an altitude of 10,000 feet, and'will mako others in the interests of meteorological findings. •
