TABLE TENNIS FINALS
The /in.-iIH of Die Wellington T/ihie Tennis Association's provincial clinriipionships were played lust night. The standard of play was high, the men's singles match w()n by C. F. Williams against G. Bell being particularly interesting. These two players, incidentally, contested the final of an unofficial Wellington championship thirteen years ago. Other winners were A. liradshaw and D. G. Clark in the men's doubles, Miss L. M. Sturrock in the women's singles, and with Miss S. Corbett in the doubles, and Williams and Miss ii. A. Williams in the mixed doubles. There was.a surprise defeat of the rcjgning champions, Williams and H. D. Kennedy, in the men's doubles. Clark and Bradsbaw showed plenty of enterprise, and found no difficulty in combating the defence offered by the other pair. _ The winners made some exhilarating hitting and thoroughly deserved their title.
