STREET MISHAP
CAR STRIKES PEDESTRIANS

Two women :md ;i four-year-old boy were knocked down by a, motor-ear as they were attempting to cross Mad)-.™ Street last night, and received injuries that necessitated their removal to the hospital. Mrs. Turner, of Dormer Street, has head injuries, Mrs. Berry, of Westport, is suffering from abrasions, bruises, and shock, and her -son, Desmond Berry, was discharged after treatment for abrasions and shock.
The motorist evidently misunderstood the intentions of the pedestrians, as lie ran into the group near a corner.
The women today were progressing satisfactorily.
