•(By Telcgraph'-'-Press Association.) AUCKLAND,: September 5. -. I A return' professional': boxing contest staged' between Frank Taylor, Auckland, and Dal Costa, bantamweight, champion (of New South Wales, was won;by Taylor on points at the end of a scheduled tenrounds bout. Although not quite so open and spectacular as the first ma,tch between the pair more than a fortnight ago, it was a hard fight all the way. Some very solid body punching ; was don* by botii, Taylor's blows containing more stins than those of the Australian. The pair finished comparatively fresh: and were accorded a fine ovation. Smith; light, W. Hogg; welter, J. Bakalich; middle, R. B. Martin; light-heavy, 11. E. Neale; heavy, H. Hepburn.
