The'northern cyclone has- passed eastwards since last night, and a slight anticyclone is now advancing across the North Tasman-Sea. An Intense westerly depression is, however, located over the Western Tasman. Dull, misty conditions and scattered rain have been -experienced in the northern and pastern districts, further heavy rain occurring during the night In the far north, while western districts have had mainly fair to fine weather. Winds became south-easterly or southerly in the night about and north of, Cook Strait,-and : this morning misty rain was still'reported between Cape Palllser and Bast Cape, and dull weather generally in eastern and far northern..parts.
