MARKETS QUIET BUT STEADY
Joseph Nathan and Co., Ltd., have received from their principals, Trengrousc and Nathan, Ltd., London, the following cabled advice, dated September 5, 1034:
••JN'ew Zealand butter: Finest, 78s per cwt. Seasonable margin appearing; lusts now 70s. New Zealand cheese: White, 4'Js; coloured, 45s to 45s lid. Markets quiet but steady."
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., has received the following advice from their London lipusc, dated September a:—Dairy produce (last week's quotations in puruntheses): Butter, New Zealand choicest salted, 78s to 7!Jw per cwt (/8s to 7D.s). Very littlu business doing, but linn" tone. Cheese, white JBs (id to 4'Js per cwt (4Ss lid to 'i'Js), coloured 40a to 45.s Gd per cwt (45s to 4Js Od). Market steady.
