NO FURTHER ACTION
A report that further action arising out of the investigation being made by thq Companies Promotion Commission was contemplated by the Government wa3 in circulation in Parliament Buildings yesterday. The name of a certain Auckland company was coupled with this report. "That report has not reached, me," said the Minister of Finance (the R.t. Hon. J. G. Coates) whan questioned. "Something may have come under the notice of the Commission in Auckland about which I have not been advised."
Mr. Coates denied definitely that any further legislation connected with the Companies (Special Investigations) Act was contemplated by the Government.
