CENTRAL EUROPEAN MARKETS
(By Telejraph) (Special to the "Evonino Port.") DUNEDIN, This Day. Mr. D. .Eoland, whoso headquarters are in Vienna, has been touring New Zealand for the purpose of furthering the exporting of New Zealand primary products, such as wool, raw furs, and other goods to Central European markets. Asked whether those markets were ready to take such products, he said that millions of people in European countries would be glad to handle them and would do so as soon as hostile restrictions by 'various Governments were removed, as they must be sooner or later. "You in New Zealand want to sell, and we want to buy," he added, "and the sooner the politicians let us come together the soOner we shall mutually profit and become more inclined ■ to peaceable good will."
The annual meeting of the Petone Cricket Club last evening was the club's twenty-fifth,, and mention was made by the chairman (Mr. W. S. Brice) of the necessity of celebrating the jubilee in a suitable manner. A committee was set up to organise a suitable celebration.
