CRASHED AT HIGH SPEED.—Douglas Davis, who crashed at Cleveland, U.S.A., while leading in a 100-mile special event at the national air races. FUNERAL OF THE.LATE AUSTRIAN CHANCELLOR.—It is estimated that three-quarters of a million people watched the funeral procession of the late Dr. Dollfuss at Vienna on July 28. The cortege passed through streets heavily guarded by troops with machine-guns and hoivilzers, and the body teas at all times surrounded by armed guards.
