MOTORING OFFENCES
Offenders against the bylaws were dealt with- by Mr. W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in the Magistrate's Court yesterday. For driving past a stationary tram, Colin M. Mitchinson was fined 10s.
Failure to give way to traffic on the right cost Louis C. Tolly 10s.
For having no driver's licence Roy H. Knight was fined 10s.
Clarence Neilson w.as fined 10s for a breach of the parking regulations. Eric J. Wilkie was ordered to pay costs for driving in. the wrong direction in a one-way street.
For having inefficient brakes on a motor-car Jack Smith was fined 10s.
Edward' L. Sutro was fined £.1 arid Cecil Palmer was ordered to pay costs for negligent driving.
On charges of driving in a manner that might be dangerous to the public Richard Morris was fined £2 and John W. Watts was fined 10s.
