RIFLE SHOOTING
STOKES VALLEY CLUB
At the annual general, meeting, of the Stokes Valley Defence Rifle Club, the president, Mr. C. H. Young, in presenting the annual report, drew attention to the highly satisfactory position of the club, the revenue account showing a credit balance of £18 2s. Special thanks was extended to Messrs. A. Taylor and O. Hurney for organising the club's social functions during the year, also .to Mrs. G. Chittick, Mr.'W. H. Field, M.P., and Mr. H. Hawthorn for donations of additional cups, enabling the chib to form a B grade. The following officers were elected;— Patron, Mr. H. Hawthorn; .vice-patrons, Messrs. W. H. Field, M.P., and A. P. Whitehead; president, Mr. J. Evans; vice-presidents, Messrs. O. Ilurney, G. Chittick,' and H. A. Herdman; secretary and treasurer, Mr. K. O. J. Andersen; assistant secretary, Mr. H. A. Herdman; committee, Messrs. C.W. Cobby and G. Parker; handienpper, Mr. C. H. Young; auditor, Mr. W. Bishop.
