Mrs. Paterson, Pahiatua, arrived in Wellington yesterday for a brief visit. ilr. and Mrs. F. Gowing, Palmerston North, are visiting Wellington. Major and Mrs. K. S. Hunter-Blair, "Elmwood," Heaton Street, retu-rned to Christchurch this morning from a trip to the South Sea Islands. . Mr. and Mrs. Harold Earle, and Miss Florence Earle, Hamilton, were in Wellington recently, en route for Cliristchurcli, where they will tako up their residence. Miss K. Whyte, Hastings, is visiting Wellington. Miss Y. Mac Donald, Blenheim, who has been visiting AVellington, has returned home. Mrs. T. Tickers, Blenheim, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home. Miss M. Cresswell, Daunevirke, is visiting Wellington. Mrs. A. W. Rutherford and Miss Rutherford, Mendiji Hills, returned to Wellington by the Makura from a trip to Australia. Miss E. Burnet,. Christchurch, is the guest of - Mrs. F. L. Shepporcl, Khandallah. Mrs. James Campbell, George Street, Dunedin, has been the guest of Mr. and Mrs. H. E. McDougall, Lower Hutt, during her visit to tho North Island. The Rev. Clarence Eaton and Mrs. Eaton, Chester Street^ Christchurch, have ' left for Auckland, where Mr.
Eaton will be busy for about a fortnight on church business.
Mrs. J. Smith, Hobson Street and her daughter, are the guests of Mrs. W. Falconer, Wanganui.
Miss K. Muir, Wanganui, who has been visiting Wellington, has returned home.
