HUTT LADIES' CHAMPIONSHIP
The first round of the Hutt ladies' open golf championship and Hutt handicap was completed under ideal golfing conditions, the results being as under: —
Open Championship.—Mrs. Slater beat Miss Wheeler, 4 and 3; Mrs. Biain beat Mrs. Welton-Hogg, 3 and 1; Mrs. Partridge beat Mrs. Baxter-Russell, 4 and 3; Mrs. Shailei Weston beat Miss VigorBrown, 3 and 1; Mrs. Pearce beat Mrs. Dodson, 5 and 3; Mrs. Foreman beat Mrs. Monkman, 3 and 2; Mrs. Crombie beat Miss Dawson, 9 and 8; Miss Lee beat Miss Gambrill, 3 and 2.
Hutt Handicap (results to hand so far). —Miss Plimmer beat Miss Bell, 1 up; Mrs. Ancell beat Miss N. BiiUmgcr,' 2 and 1; Mrs. Galloway beat Mrs. Park, 7 and 6; Mrs. Hunt beat Miss Peacock, ,7 and 5.
