Terrific seas continue along Mie NeW! South Wales and Queensland coast line, delaying shipping and forcing many* small vessels to shelter. Flooding is reported from a number of inland centres and rivers in coastal and inland areas are running bankers.' The damage in Sydney is mostly of a minor character. '

It is learned that when the Montoro put into Brisbane on Sunday night sha had six feet of water in the forward hold. The temporary repairs made in. New Guinea after the vessel ran aground at Fortification Point proved inadequate when the Montoro struck the full force of the cyclone on her way, down the coast and a serious leak developed.
