A charge of assaulting Seth Snoswell so as to cause actual bodily harm was preferred in the Magistrate's Court today against Edith Firth, aged 53, a domestic, who was rdmanded to September 11. Bail was fixed at £50 and one surety of £50. A garden fork which the police allegod was the weapon used by tho accused was displayed in court. The complainant is vow in hospital for treatment of his nose, which, it is alleged, was broken in the affray. Counsel,said that ho understood the charge might be reduced.- . .
