Reports that tho Australian federal Cabinet would reconsider after the Parliamentary elections on September 15 tho questions of the recent increases of Australian tariffs on ccrlain classes of cotton yarn and piecegoods in the light of a telegram.from Mr. Bruce, tho Australian High Commissioner in London, summarising tho representations of tho English cotton interests, is welcomed in Lancashire, where the announcement will go a long way to meet the local point of view.
