SPECIAL TRAIN TRIPS

The first of the spring weekend excursion trips by rail from Wellington will be to Napier and other Hawke's Bay stations on Saturday, September 15, and to Wanganui on September 22, both at low fares, which are shown in a display advertisement in this issue. The indications are that the beautiful spring scenes along both routes will be better than ever this year. . Excursionists to Wanganui will be able to see the big Empire Art Loan Collection in the Sargent Art Gallery. The exhibitions of these pictures (which will not be shown in Wellington) have drawn record attendances in Auckland, Christchurch, and Dunedin.
