FRENCH DRAFT BUDGET
ECONOMIES WITHOUT CUTS

PARIS, August 30,
M. Germain Martin, Minister of Finance, presented a draft Budget to the Cabinet, proposing a reduction in the
expenditure by £67,000,000, without fresh taxation. The new expenditure cuts do not affect civil servants' salaries or ex-scrviccmcn's pensions.
