'A LIBERAL CONTRIBUTION

The Mayor's Belief Fund was usefully increased a few days ago by a donation of £100 from Messrs. Murray, Roberts, and Co., Ltd. 'This is, Wellington's quota of a sum of £250 voted by the directors to distress funds in contres where the firm is doing business. The balance of £150 is being apportioned between Gisborne, Napier, Wanganui, and Dunedin.
