The consistent Prince Colossus, who lias just completed a month's spell, has been taken in hand again at New Plymouth by H. Dulieu. His tasks for the present will be of a light nature, but he is in healthy condition after his rest and he should come to hand fairly quickly when he commences serious work.

Mrs. A. W. McDonald will be represented in the Debutant Stakes at Wnnganui by Round Up and Romp Along. These two youngsters were accorded a race from the two furlongs barrier lit Awapuui on Tuesday, and Round Up made it apparent that he possesses much of the family speed by beating his, cdmpanioii home by two and a half lengths in 25sec. Romp.. Along will improve.

According to a Dunedin report E. McKay was not long in getting, a team together at Wiiigatui, and now haa seven horses in his stable. The list is made up by a three-year-old filly by Lord Warden—Wild Work, Motukarakara, a Balboa—Guzark gelding.a three-year-old by Paper Money— Roburite, Silver Lark, a Paladin—Madain Melba gelding, and a Balboa—Pink Terrace gelding.

Hounelow haa been put on tha easy list for a few weeks, but in view of the fact that the Canterbury Jockey Club is likely to continue the policy of brush hurdle races he and other .jumpers ■will be kept handy for the Cup Meeting.
