The handicap matches which were unfinished at the conclusion of the North Island Badminton tournament, recently conducted by the Wellington Badminton Association at the Winter Show Buildings, were completed last week. N. Richards won the men's handicap singles by defeating P. Reeves. s The results of the matches were as fol> lows:— Men's Singles* Semi-finals: N. Richards (7) beat G.'l. Bewes (10) 21-18, P. Reeves (7) beat V. Dixon (owe 10) 21-19. Final: Richards beat Reeves 21-13. Men's Doubles. ' Final: E. J. Rishworth and C. Evans» Scott (owe 20) beat H. Miucher. and E. Hammonds (5) 21-15. : Combined Doubles. Semi-finals: Jupp and Miss Laycock (owe 2) beat Evans-Scott and MiES EvansScott (10) 21-14. Dixon and Miss Denby (owe i) beat Castle and Miss Irvine (JO) 21-9. • ■ . . ' ■"■ Final: Dixon nnd Miss Denby beat Jupp ' and Miss Laycock 21-19. Women's Doubles.
