ARTCRAFT THEATRE.
"Queen Christina," starring Greta Garbo, with John Gilbert, will conclude this evening at the Arteraft Theatre. "General John Regan,'" Henry Edwards's latest picture, will commence a season at the Arteraft Theatre tomorrow night. Henry Edwards is something of a specialist in fresh open-air subjects, as those who saw "The Flag Lieutenant" will agree, and his new film follows in the "Flag Lieutenant" tradition in that respect. "General John Regan" centres upon life in a small Irish village, where the leaders of society are the butcher, the innkeeper, the newspaper proprietor, the local doctor, and the local major—and their natural meetingplace is the village square. The story, by George A. Birmingham., abounds in delightful, refreshing Irish humour. The supporting programme will be composed of a musical number, a scenic film, a Pathe Gazette, a novelty item, and a Fox News.
