(By Telegraph—Press Association.) \yESTPORT, August 10. Representatives'of the Seamen's Federation, Mr. F. P. Walsh, president, and Mr. Clarke (Dunedin) and Mr. Martin (Lyttelton), met the crews of the five vessels held up here for over a week — the Alexander, Kiwitca, Canopus, Karctu, and Kanna —in conferencp today. N

After a discussion lasting nino hours, Mr. Walsh provided tho following statement to tho Press:—"The strike is settled with terms agrceablo to the seamen."

Tho five ships will leavo tomorrow morning for their respective ,ports.
