The Government is fixing wheat prices at 25 per cent, above world prices tp assist farmers. The . export of wheat is prohibited. The crop is so short that the high internal prico can bo easily maintained. DOLLAR WHEAT IN WINNIPEG : (Received August 8, 2 p.m.) WINNIPEG, August 7. May wheat touched one dollar a bushel in the wheat market on Tuesday.
