H.M.S. DUNEDIN RETURNS

(By Telegraph—Press Association.) AUCKLAND., This Day

With the German ensign flying at half-niast. as a mark of respect to the late President Hindenburg, the flagship Dunedin returned to Auckland today after an eight weeks' cruise around the' Pacific Islands. She visited. Nukualofa, Suva, Apia, Pago Pago, Bora Bora, Tahiti, Morea, Raiatea, and Rarotbnga. While at Bora Bora-tho officers exchanged courtesy visits with the French naval schooner Zelle, and at Tahiti the officers and men enjoyed much hospitality during tho. celebration of the Fete Nationale.

The Dunedin will remain in port till September 3. After gunnery exercises, she and the Diomede (which is due back from her Island cruise next Friday) will.sail for Sydney, Hpbart, and Melbourne.. '..' ' ...
