AUCKLAND, This Day

A diver examined the hull of tho motor-ship Hauraki ' today, and if a clearance is given she will sail at 6 o'clock this' evening for Wellington. She will be docked later, on-her arrival at Sydney. . A preliminary inquiry into tho stranding of the ship was opened by the Marine Superintendent, who will forward the evidence to the Department, which will decide if a Magisterial inquiry is necessary.
