LONDON, August 4. Friday's closing prices for the following raw materials were as follows, those for July 27 being in parentheses:— Cotton: Liverpool quotation, good American middling, spot, 7.07d pet lb (G.97d); September delivery;' 6.84d per lb (0.77d), Rubber: Para, 5%d per )b (same); plantation smoked ribbed sheet, 7 3-16d per lb (7d). Jute: August-September shipment, Indian jute, Dundee quotation, £14 12s Gd per ton (£l4 3s l%d). Copra: August-September shipment, South Sea, £8 per ton (£7 17s 6d); smoked, nominally £6 12s 6d per ton (same); plantation, Rabaul, £8 17s 6d per ton (£8 15s). Linseed oil: £22 per ton (same). Turpentine: 42s per cwt (41s 9d).
