GREATEST LA^ TENNIS PAGEANT IN THE WORLD.— A view of. the terraces and courts at Wimbledon during the lawn tennis championships [which opened at the All-England Club on June 25. Record attendances were present each day of the tournament, the opening attendance being over thirteen thousand. According to the notice board giving the order of play, C. E. Malfroy, ■of Wellington, is; playing the South African P. D. B. Spence on Court No. 5, and V. E. McGrath (Australia) was playing S. B.'Wood .. ■ ■ (U.S.A.) on the famous centre court. Malfroy won his match, but McGrath was defeated.
