WRESTLING ON MONDAY.
One of the most important /boutsi of the present wrestling season is that which is set down to take place in the, Wellington Town. Hall on Monday night between Dr. Fred Meyer arid Dean Detton.: The sea-, son has now, reached a stage at which the contests to decide the champion of the team are under way arid two of the strongest claimants to the honour are. Detton and Meyer. They have met twice previously and will enter the ring on Monday with a win apiece. Memories of their first, nieeting in Wellington are sufficiently fresh- to attract a large 'attendance to the Town Hall and.very heavy booking has been in progress during the week. They are an exceptionally well-matched pair who keep the proceedings lively and interesting all the way arid, with much depending upon the. result, Monday's match should provide even more excitement than was caused three weeks ago. Amateur preliminaries will commence at 8 p.m. as I usual.. . : ' ' •■■■'•■.•■■'■
