CHALLENGE, BY AUCKLAND
The Auckland Eugby. "Union's representatives are. to play a match with Hawke's Bay at Napier on September 8. Since Hawko's. Bay are now in possession of tho Eanfurly Shield, the Auckland Union has decided to ask that the match'with Hawke's Bay shall be for the Shield;
Challenges for the trophy must be made by next Tuesday. Apparently "Wellington arc not entering a challenge. The Hawke's Bay: Wellington match is set down to be played in Wellington this season, and it is not to be expected "of Hawke's Bay that they will play a Shield match away from home.
