The "Daily Telegraph's" Borne correspondent says that some anxiety is fejt, about Britain's attitude to a,situation which is described as the most dangerous since that of July, 1914. j It is asked:— _ 1. Will Britain adhere to a joint p'rotcst by Italy and France entailing threat sanctions against l Germany it' she persists in her present Austrian policy? ■ ■ ' 2. Will slip tako thb lino that today's happenings are purely an internal matter? ■• ■ 3. Will she assume benevolent neutrality while Italy, Prance, and Czechoslovakia put the Austrian house in order'? Italians are anxiously looking to Britain to help save Europe from strife and bloodshed.
