REASON FOR WITHDRAWAL
BERLIN, July 26. The official reason for the recall of Herr Reith, German Minister to Austria, is that he consented, at the request of the Austrian Government and the rebels, to an agreement drawn up between them regarding the free conduct of tho rebels to Germany without cuji.,_-'Mii£» his Government. All rebels will be arrested if they cross the frontier.
Berlin newspapers protest Germany's innocence and insist that tho evonts^in Austria are purely domestic. It is announced that Herr Hitler is returning from Bayreuth immediately. Baron yon Neurath, Foreign Minister,
telegraphed tho sympathy-of the Government with the Austrian Government in tho death of Dr. Dollfuss..
