■ AUCKLAND, This Day. After seeking the advice of the Minister of Internal Affairs, the Auckland Firo Board decided , today to restore half of the 10 per cent, cut in salaries, wages, and allowances of its permanent, auxiliary, and volunteer staffs. '

The Minister said that ho had no objection to the restoration provided the estimated expenditure to which his approval had been given was' not exceeded. .
