SYDNEY, This Day. Heavy rain has fallon on the South Coast in the past few days, and' rivers and creeks have overflowed. Roads are blocked, and largo areas of' land inundated.- Tho rain has now ceased, but extonsive floods aro feared if further rain falls. '
Further inland the southern highlands are covered b"y snow, more than two feet doop, according to roports, at many places.
