During the! past season the New Zealand Co-operative D.iiry Company's output of nianufactured ; dairy. " .products reached 61,280 tone, as against 56,426 tons for 1932-33, an ineiease of 4834 tons. The outputs of the commodities manufactured by "the company vere as follows:—Butter, 43,640 tons; cheese, 11,421' tons; casein, 810 tons; milk powder, 4776; tons; condensed mi1k,663 tons. The total payment to .butter suppliers for the season just ended is expected to equal 0 5014 d per lb for direct delivery shareholders for finest grade butter-fat. The corresponding payment for the 1932-33 season was 9.749 d per lb butterfat. ' As 4390 tons more butter was 'made foi the 1933-34 season than for'the previous season, the pay-out to butter suppliers alone ■will considerably exceed the aggregate for the 1932-33 season. - . In the cheese department 442 tons1 more cheese was made during 1933-34 than during 1932-33. The payments to be made to.cheese suppliers will vary according to the manufacturing results of the company's 18 factories. . They wilj range from 9.6778 d to L 11.3536d, and will average 10.4174 d per lb butter-fat. The previous season the prices: ranged from 10.3C4d to 11.7101(1, and averaged 10.8277(1.
