Friday^ Kiglit, brother to Phar tap, is progressing the right vay at Riecarton, and last week, with Golden Dart as a mate, he reeled off half a mile in remarkably fast time. This colt lias been given very patient treatment since being broken in, and is to' be aE'ordcd further chances to outgrow the leg trouble.-which-has always threatened- him. lie seems sound enough at present, and should ho develop into the class suggested by his looks and breeding the credit will bo due to bis painstaking trainer ]?.
